I was asked to make a spooky birthday cake for a
teenage girl. I covered a chocolate cake in red fondant icing and really neat black spiky border around the base of the cake. I made the spiders out of black fondant and piped on their legs. I also piped on the spiders webs. For the bats I rolled out fondant and cut them out and attached them to floral wire. I added some black fondant flowers because it was for a girl's birthday. I had lots of fun creating this spooky cake.
